I just wanted to share some great news with you.

The State of Hawaii Organization of Police Officers has endorsed me in the Lieutenant Governor’s race. This is a great boost to our campaign, significantly adding to our momentum.

But it’s more than that for me.

These men and women put their lives on the line every day to make sure that our families are safe. Across the state, these officers are doing important work, not just in stopping and solving crime, but also in building our communities. They are our neighbors, our friends, our coaches, our aunties and our uncles.

So I want to take this moment to thank them for the trust that they’ve put in me to be the next Lieutenant Governor. Mahalo, officers.

P.S. The police officers have joined other local unions, business groups, and community organizers in endorsing our vision for Hawaii, but we still need your help as we get closer to the primary.
